Old Plantation oysters are grown in the calm, clean waters of Old Plantation Creek on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The southernmost of the Shore's Bayside creeks, Old Plantation's average salinity of 24-26 parts per thousand (ppt) gives Old Plantation's a rare balance of flavor and saltiness that we would think you'll love. Our oysters are cultured in floating cages, which helps them develop a clean, beautifully shaped shell. We also use a reproductively capable (diploid) strain of seed, so every oyster we grow has the chance to spawn before being harvested. We think this is the least we can do to help restore the wild oyster populations in the Chesapeake Bay.

To inquire about Old Plantation Oysters and to order, give us a call or shoot us an email. We'll be around the Virginia and Mid-Atlantic region over the next few months letting individuals and businesses sample our oysters. If you're interested in having us pay you a visit, please let us know.
